Brooks practice is focused on industrial real estate. In particular, he has developed extensive experience in specific asset classes including Industrial Logistics & Manufacturing, Industrial Outdoor Storage (IOS) and Industrial Cold Storage. Brooks’ has represented both global corporate clients and industrial developments firms in solving complex real estate challenges that covers the full lifecycle of industrial and logistics projects. His extensive network and mastery of negotiation and marketing have helped clients throughout the Southeast Region and US. His experience covers site selection, built to suit modeling, leasing assumptions, and sale disposition strategies.
Brooks holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Kentucky. Brooks is an active Member of the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors (SIOR) a global network of highly trained real estate professionals.
In addition to his real estate work, Brooks is a member of the Board of Advisors for the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) Storm Eye Institute. In 2021, Brooks was named to Charleston Regional Business Journals’ 35 Best and Brightest. Brooks is a former member of the Charleston Regional Chamber of Commerce’s Young Professionals Steering Committee. In 2025 Brooks achieved the Port Ambassador Title through the South Carolina State Ports Port Ambassador Program.
Brooks’s enjoys spending time with his wife Emory. Brooks is also an avid sporting clay shooter and golfer and enjoys exploring the best that the Southeast has to offer.
