BRIDGE COMMERCIAL BROKERS SALE OF 2.3 ACRES OF INDUSTRIAL LAND ALONG NORTH KING STREET

CHARLESTON, S.C. – Hagood S. Morrison II, John Beam, Brooks Courtney, and Graham Meisel of Bridge Commercial are pleased to announce the successful sale of approximately 2.3 acres at 1647 King Street Extension in downtown Charleston. Bridge Commercial exclusively represented the seller in the transaction.

After assisting the company with the disposition of its operating property, Bridge Commercial successfully marketed the industrial land site, resulting in the sale of the prime infill parcel. The property was purchased by Charlotte-based 4 Rivers Property Group, which plans to develop a self-storage facility on the site.

Strategically located along the North King Street corridor, the approximately 2.3-acre property offers exceptional visibility and access in one of Charleston's most active redevelopment areas. As available land in the urban core becomes increasingly scarce, the site presented a rare opportunity for new commercial development.

“Bridge Commercial and Brooks Courtney successfully represented us in the sale of 1647 King Street Extension for redevelopment into a self-storage facility,” said Alex Mitchum, President of C&M Industries. “He helped navigate the property’s environmental challenges while keeping the transaction on schedule, which was critical to meeting our exchange timeline, and was a trusted advisor throughout the process.”

"We were proud to help our client through every stage of the process, from the sale of their trucking operation's property to identifying the right buyer for this exceptional redevelopment opportunity," said Brooks Courtney. "The property's location and development potential generated strong interest, and we're excited to see it move into its next chapter."

The transaction highlights the continued demand for well-located industrial land sites in the Charleston market and the ongoing investment in the North King Street corridor. Bridge Commercial's team of Hagood S. Morrison II, John Beam, Brooks Courtney, and Graham Meisel represented the seller throughout the transaction.
